Certification requirements
To become a Divemaster, you will need to take a course. Internships are required
There are various internship options to become a Divemaster. You may be asked to assist in other PADI Courses, or even set up dive sites. As a skill circuit assistant, you may be required. There will be a consistent pattern to your internship. A typical internship lasts 8 weeks. In the same period, you may become an Advanced Open Water Diver. After four to 6 weeks of training you can become an Advanced Open Water Diver or Divemaster.
There may be an opportunity to do a free Dive master internship, in addition to the paid internships. Although internships are not always the best, it will give you plenty of time to learn and receive advice from Divemasters.
