TDI Extended range is a special course for divers with limited access to Trimix. It emphasizes skills development, solid procedures, and diver responses to situations. Students will learn how two decompression gases can be used and how to safely diversify in the Extended Range environment. TDI Extended Range training dives are conducted on air, nitrox, or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens doors to new dive sites. This certification can also allow divers to travel up to 60 m/200 ft. Extended Range certifications are also available as eLearning. If you're unable to find a dive center in your area, you can complete the course online with TDI eLearning. This course will teach you all about the benefits of extended range diving.
The Extended Range course will allow you to dive in more challenging locations and decrease your nitrogen narcosis. You'll learn how to plan and execute stage decompression dives by using up to two stage bottles and enriched air or oxygen. The Extended Range course may also be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix training is designed to prepare you for advanced and safe diving. TDI Trimix training focuses primarily upon safety and skill building, as it is necessary to quickly address problems at depths of up to 60 meters. Divers should be familiar with all procedures to avoid complications.
