Divers can learn valuable skills through a Dive Specialty. A Specialty allows divers to make an impact on every dive. This type is usually specialized in a certain area of diving and may specialize in particular equipment. Enriched Air Nitrox EANx (Boat Diving) and Deep Scuba are examples of these specialties. Enriched Air Nitrox

Learn more about the benefits and how to become a certified PADI Enriched Air diver (Nitrox). The specialty course includes independent study, practical exercises, and two optional nitrox dives. The course is designed to be completed online or offline, and you can complete it on your own time, regardless of where you plan on diving. This specialization requires a tank that meets specific oxygen service standards.

Underwater Photography

Scuba diving is an excellent way to improve your skills and knowledge if you love taking photos. Underwater photography is just one of the many specialties that you can learn. This course will cover the principles and techniques involved in underwater photography. Learn about underwater lighting and composition. Additionally, you will learn proper etiquette for underwater photography and how to properly photograph them. The PADI Online Course will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about underwater photography, and connect you to an instructor.


Boat Diving

PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course offers a great way to get started on your diving adventures or if you are looking for a challenge. The course covers everything you need to know about boat diving, including how to enter and exit, proper etiquette as well as how to pack your gear. Also, the course covers boat safety and handling emergencies while on water.

Deep Scuba

There are many Deep Scuba Diving specialties. Advanced Diver certification means that certified divers can dive deeper than the initial dive. Deep Scuba divers must be able to recognize the effects of pressure and breathing when diving. Their body functions and systems are more vulnerable as they descend deeper. They must also be able to plan and carry out safe deep dives. Some specialties require additional training. There are however a few requirements for certification.
