
White Point dive is one of the most interesting dive sites in LA. It features white bacterial mats on the bottom and is near the hypo-thermal hot springs. This dive site features an old shipwreck as well as rock reefs and kelp. You will also see giant sea stars and urchins. High tide is the best time to dive.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo, La is a state park located along the southern coast of Los Angeles County, California. It is part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and features 1.5 miles of beach that extends into the Santa Monica Mountains. You will find many opportunities to dive in the clear waters off Leo Carrillo State Park.
Divers can choose three main dive sites in Leo Carrillo. These sites are ideal for beginners as they have easy entry points and ample parking. These sites are also popular for night diving, lobster hunting, and you'll find plenty of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island offers some outstanding offshore dive locations. You can take a boat ride to reach these amazing dive sites. These spots are ideal for hunting and photography as they are often very rugged. These areas are home to healthy kelp and purple hydro coral. It is also a great spot for swimming in Southern California waters.
You can also go snorkeling or kayaking on the island. If it is dry, tent camping can be done. There is a large population pinnipeds on the island, which includes harbor seals. These animals can also be found in the rocky areas around a sea lion rookery. They are located at many overlooks on island.
Anacapa Island
There is a wide variety of marine life on Anacapa Island. One of America's first Marine Protected Areas can be found in this region. The area offers diving opportunities that are both excellent for experienced and beginners. The warm waters of the island make it an ideal place to dive in a wetsuit. Surface temperatures can easily reach 70deg F (21deg C) in the late summer and fall. However, temperatures in winter can fall as low at 50 degrees F (10 degrees Celsius). Using a 7mm wetsuit is recommended. During these months, visibility is at least 100ft (30M).
The Anacapa dive site is accessible by diving charter boats and the island's Island Packers. You will find many dive sites on the island, including a 40-foot tall arch rock. These sites can be viewed by snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park
Veteran's Park is a Green Space off Ocean Drive with a playground, fields and other amenities. This park is great for families who want to spend quality time together. It is located close to the beaches. On a sunny day, there is a great view of the ocean from the park. It is open throughout the year and has plenty to offer.
Parking is easy. Veteran's Park, a great place to start your dive adventure, is ideal for first-timers. It's easily accessible and has restrooms as well as parking. A meter is available for checking, and you can also use the outdoor shower to rinse your clothes. There's also a changing room, but the bathrooms close at dusk.
