PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response (EFR+CFC) course is designed to prepare individuals for situations where they may need to apply first aid. Course content

EFR is a great course that will increase your confidence and help you deal with medical emergencies. The course teaches simple procedures for emergency care and gives participants hands-on practice in a stress-free environment. The course materials include self-study manuals, video demonstrations, and quick reference cards. It also fulfills the training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course and professional ratings.

CPR, rescue breathing techniques, scene assessment, basic first aid, and CPR are all covered. Common diving injuries can also be treated during the training. This includes how to bandage and splint as well as how to prevent infection. Students also learn how to protect themselves from pathogens and other dangerous materials. This course allows you to respond to potentially life-threatening situations and save lives!

Pre-requisites

The PADI Emergency First Response course is a one-day program that focuses on teaching participants how to respond in time to a life-threatening medical emergency. Requirements

Emergency First Response training builds confidence and prepares participants to help others in an emergency. The course teaches lifesaving skills, such as CPR, first aid, and primary care, and emphasizes the importance of minimizing risks. Non-divers are also taught so they can be more prepared for an emergency.


Students can sit for the PADI Instructor examination after completing the EFRI Program. Each course of the EFRI program starts with the prefix EFRI. They are numbered sequentially. Each course is one hour long, with 55 minutes of class and five minutes break.

Refresher Course

EFR Refresher Courses are designed for those who want to improve their skills. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. The EFR refresher course is an optional part of the full EFR course, but the EFR Instructor Manual recommends it. The refresher course will cover the most recent developments in CPR/first Aid. The AED will also be taught. In addition, you will learn how to instruct people on how to perform these skills in case of an emergency.

This course will help you to improve your skills and prepare for the PADI Rescue Diver course. It also meets the requirement for the Professional Rescue Diver course and other courses that require CPR training. It also contains an Emergency First Response Video that helps participants prepare for emergency situations and preview the skills they will use during the skills development session.

Cost

The Emergency First Responder course is a one-day course that covers all aspects of emergency response. It includes classroom lectures, video presentations, role play scenarios, CPR, first assistance, and AED use. The course is an essential part of PADI certification and satisfies the prerequisites for several courses. It costs approximately 6,900 THB per participant. The fee covers the training manual and two years' PADI certification fees.

The PADI Emergency First Responder course will train you in CPR and rescue breathing as well as scene assessment and monitoring a victim's condition.
